Bristol City have completed the signing of Bournemouth striker Brett Pitman for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old has brought to an end his six-year association with Bournemouth to step into the Npower Championship.
Jersey-born Brett has signed a three-year contract and arrives with a terrific goalscoring record in the lower leagues.
Pitman opted for a move to Bristol City ahead of the chance to move into the Premier League with Blackpool.
For the Cherries he notched 62 goals in 197 appearances, and also enjoyed highs and lows spanning from promotion to administration.
With such a good goal to game ratio Pitman has the chance to be a fantastic signing for the club and the perfect player to improve their chances of promotion to the Premier league this Season.
