Does it offend you yeah? at my Graduation Ball

On Saturday 7th November i attended my graduation ball held at the Southampton Guildhall. I was excited for many reasons meeting old friends i hadn't seen in months but also the headlining band Does it Offend you yeah?

Does It Offend You, Yeah?were formed in Reading and were the ninth most listened to new band of 2008 on last fm. They were also included in the best alternative music list of 2008 on i-tunes USA.

With such a successful band headlining it was quite understandable why i was eager to get as close to the stage as i could. Not as close as some students who at one point managed to jump the barrier avoid security and strip on stage to lead singer James Rushent's amazement.

After dancing and an amazing set performed by the band myself and my friend Mike Chilton made our way outside for some fresh air and thought this night couldn't get better. How wrong we were!

While sitting on the steps outside the Guildhall talking about how much fun we were having at the ball i noticed creeping out of the front entrance none other than James Rushent and the Band. We had a huge chat about people storming on stage and what the band had lined up for the future, as well of course a photo to make all my mates jealous.

If you ever go to Reading, Glastonbury,Leeds or even notice Does it offend you year playing in your home town i would recommend them to anyone. There music is enjoyable, easy to dance to and the band are nice people to boot. Go and see them you won't be disappointed!

Me with Does it Offend you Yeah?

NO SMOKING!

I saw this sign a few weeks ago. I know it means no smoking under the tree but why such a big sign??

Thoughts???

You've arrived in Bristol! GOOD TIMES!!

Visitors to Bristol International Airport will be welcomed by West country comedian Justin Lee Collins speaking through a hazard cone.

In the recording Mr Lee Collins says: "Welcome to Bristol Airport, please mind the stairs".

The television presenter's greeting is to be played at passport control in international arrivals.
Airport staff usually record the message which warns passengers to take care when using the stairs.

Justin recorded the message when he flew from the airport on 28 November. It makes you wonder what he will do next as he is already a successfull illusionist, Presenter, Wrestler and now Airport Voice over. Maybe he will take over from Patrick Allen the announcer on E4!

BullyProof

BBC Radio 1 recently had a campaign in a bid to stop bullying in the UK. When i was younger i like many got bullied at school but overcame it and have recently passed my BA (hons) in Journalism a job i have dreamed about doing since i was a teenager. This video contains a lot of information people should use to overcome bullying and achieve the things they want and deserve. Have confidence in yourself and good things will happen! :D

Is Sergio Aguero moving to the Premiership?

Sergio Aguero has admitted he is prepared to leave Atletico Madrid and join Chelsea at the end of the season. The Argentina striker is determined to see the season out with the La Liga strugglers, but is willing to change clubs at the end of the season if the price is right.
As a Chelsea fan i think this would be an amazing move not only for my club but for the Premiership as well.

At only 21 Aguero is considered one of the brightest prospects in world football. He has already acquired 71 goals in just 178 club apperances and has notched up 23 caps and scored a total of 13 goals for argentina. At just 21 that is an astonishing achievment. With the prospect of Wayne Rooney,Fernando Torres,Van Persie and Sergio Aguero all playing in the premiership next season who would be mad enough not to want to see that every week on Match of the day? Especially when they all have the ability to win the golden boot at the end of the season.

John Terry's free tackle!

I noticed this picture when i walked into a local shop last month and thought it was hillarious. i think my favourite part of the whole magazine cover is not the fact that John Terry seems to have some kind of romance with fish but the fact that on the side of the magazine it says 'free tackle pull out'. GENIUS!
